Case Study: Pharmaceutical Client

We are delighted to shine a spotlight on a recent project completed for our long-term client in the pharmaceutical industry.

Over the past 20 years, we have developed a trusted and rewarding partnership, and are thrilled to have been involved with the build of their new Medical Research Facility recently completed in Dunboyne, Co. Meath, Ireland. This revolutionary facility is designed to enhance the development and pace in which medicines are provided for patients across the globe.

We delivered our signature Atex standard to the project by providing Central Battery Systems, Emergency Lighting, General Lighting (with function, longevity and aesthetics in mind) and Lighting Controls throughout the facility, using best in class products via Eaton, CEAG, Astra, Concord Sylvania, DW Windsor, Signify and Securlite. We are enormously proud to fulfil a project of this scale with the following deliverables:

Central Battery Systems – 140A of Emergency Back-up Power, 1no. Charging System and 5no. Emergency Lighting Sub-Boards

General Lighting – >3000no. Luminaires

Emergency Lighting – >1250no. Luminaires

Lighting Controls – >80no. Headend Controllers, >500no. Sensors & >150no. Control Button Pads

Aligning our unmatched expertise, which is warranted in the pharma sector, with the latest technology and trusted brands, Atex delivered an engineering solution for every puzzle. Our team of fully qualified engineers assisted with calculations, sizing of battery systems, circuit addressing and more to complete the project to the highest standard. Our commissioning and service team provided onsite coordination and assistance for contractors and clients during the project build, whilst commissioning the systems.  They also provide aftersales service for all our systems and can be on site urgently if required, as our team is based across Ireland.

It is our pleasure to work with one of the world’s largest pharma companies, and over the past 10 years, we have collaborated on many projects, ensuring that the Atex product integration is the preferred solution for them on all of our projects.  We are currently working with our client on their next Pharma Building and we look forward to working with their team on many more projects in the future.
